“Select User” Enhancements | 08.30.18

BENEFITS

  • Combines "Add" and "Remove Member" functionalities.
  • Allows users to search for and see more information about members they are adding through enhanced individual fields.
 

STEP 1:

Users can open a Clinical Experience and navigate to the "Members" tab. Here, users can select the "Actions" dropdown menu and choose "Manage Members." This is the same area where "Add Member" and "Remove" or "Revoke Member" previously displayed.

STEP 2:

Once "Manage Members" is selected, the "Member Management" screen will appear. Users will see a list of individuals they can add to their Clinical Experience on the left, and a list of individuals that are currently part of their Clinical Experience on the right. Both lists can be searched using first or last name, allowing for quick location of the correct individual.

STEP 3:

In addition to searching, users can hover over the "i" icon and see additional information about each individual in the list.

STEP 4:

Users can also multi-select individuals when adding or removing members as long as they have the same role in the group. To do this, users would click on multiple "Available Members," select the "Role" they will all have in the group, and then click "Add." Those members will now appear in the "Current Members" column on the right.

STEP 5:

To remove members, users can select individuals and click "Remove." Those members will be removed from the "Current Members" column and will re-appear in the "Available Members" column.

STEP 6:

Once users have completed adding and removing members, they can click the green "Update Members" button. This will save all changes by adding or removing the appropriate members of the Clinical Experience.

STEP 7:

After users click "Update Members," they will see an Updated Members Confirmation.

STEP 8:

Similarly to "Update Members," individual fields such as "Instructor" on the Facility Led Group Placement screen will now appear as an updated dropdown menu.

STEP 9:

Within an updated dropdown menu, users can search for a specific individual by name, or hover over the "i" icon to view more information about that individual. To add an individual to the field, users can select them as they did before.
